Tristan C. Briones, II, M.D.

Proudly serving the Owensboro community since 2007, Dr. Tristan Briones is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist who joined Advanced Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in 2024. With his extensive training, Dr. Briones specializes in providing comprehensive care to patients suffering from various injuries and conditions using nonsurgical treatment methods. His commitment revolves around being a key player in his patients' health journey, ensuring they achieve their fitness objectives, enjoy their activities, and enhance their overall well-being. His expertise includes an array of advanced treatments, such as epidural steroid injections, facet injections, sacroiliac joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, electromyography, nerve conduction studies, trigger point injections, muscle spasticity management, and BOTOX^® injections.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Louisville College of Arts & Sciences in Kentucky, Dr. Briones went to the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico for his medical degree. He then went to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania, for an internal medicine internship. He pursued further training with a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus.

Dr. Briones is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, board-certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine, and he is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
